advanced scenes clinic
With Katy Schutte. Scenes, scenes and more scenes, with more feedback than normal to give you what your improv needs.
You’ll be improvising scene after scene, receiving some helpful feedback and exercises, and then doing more scenes, scenes and scenes so you can rapidly improve your scenework over the course.
Katy will be providing more feedback than is normal for a Hoopla course.
At the start she’ll be finding out what you want from the course and your personal improv goals. She’ll then give you individual feedback, support and tailor made exercises to give you what you need for your improv.
Six week course aiming to make you awesome at improvising scenes and take your improv to another level.

Who is this suitable for?
Experienced improvisers who want to push themselves, receive more feedback and take their improv to a whole other dimension.
How much improv experience should I have?
At least our Level 3 course or experience of performing improv on stage.
Is there a follow on course to this course?
We have a variety of other advanced courses that explore different styles and show formats that would be a suitable follow on for this course.
Is there a show at the end?
No.
What if I can’t make every week?
It’s not worth doing the course if you are likely to miss more than two workshops, as we are trying to build a team over the course.
What if I’m running late?
It’s best not to sign up to the course if you are going to be late on a regular basis, as we are forming a team over the course. Also we tend to introduce the theme of each workshop at the start of the session, and also do all the warm ups at the start, so it’s tricky to do if late. Once or twice is ok, but please don’t sign up to the course if you are likely to be late on a regular basis.
What is the class size?
Around 12-14 people.
What ages is it for?
18 and over.
