Temple of Doom

Temple of Doom

Description

5 people stand at the side of the stage. There is no dialogue in this exercise, but you can make sounds. The first person goes into the Temple of Doom and is killed by some kind of trap. Get them to use their best object work to help us be clear about what killed them. The second person goes into the Temple, avoids the trap the first person got killed by and gets killed by something else. Do this until everyone by the last person dies. They have the choice to get the treasure and escape instead!

Bonus – if you have a speaker with you, it’s great to play the soundtrack; or just have the audience sing it.

Purpose

  • Building the physical environment.
  • Object work.
