Hot Spot

Hot Spot

Description

It’s a circle game with one person starting in the middle. The person in the middle sings any existing song. You don’t need to be able to sing well or remember all the words! As soon as they sing, everyone else should join in (even if they are guessing how the song goes). The game is that someone needs to take over the centre role (the ‘hot spot’) to relieve that person. In order to relieve them, they just need to start singing a different song. It can link by sounding similar, have a word the same or there was just something that made them think of it. When the second person sings a new song, everyone joins in as before. The aim is to make the transitions as quick as possible and have one another’s backs.

Teaching Purpose

This game is all about supporting one another and having trust.
