Have two lines of students (so, each facing a partner). Ask one line to think of a fact, it doesn’t have to be clever, just true and not about them or their partner; like, ‘grass is green’. They will deliver their fact as an initiation. The job of their partner is to respond to the fact as if it were super personal. To ‘grass is green’ they might respond “I literally just mowed the lawn, thank you for noticing!” An extra tip if anyone is struggling is either to try and think of the best or worst person to hear this fact, or to have a big emotional reaction first and figure out why they had that reaction in their response line.
