online drop ins
Have some fun playing a mix of games, scenes and show formats specifically designed for zoom!
These online drop-ins are open to everyone, we’ve got something for all levels. If you are totally new to improv you may want to start with one of our online taster days first.
As always we create a fun, friendly and supportive environment where improvisers are free to play and be themselves.
Each session will start with a chat to build the right environment, a quick guide on how to use Zoom for improv, then some fun warm ups and core skills before doing LOADS and LOADS of games, scenes and show formats for fun!
We’ve also now added some themed specials around topics like Characters, Story, Scenework and more.
Most of all the focus will be on improvising in a fun and carefree way, getting lots of practice in, and having a massive laugh!

I laughed so hard that I cried, full-on shaking with laughter, as tears streamed down my face.
The workshop really helps you internalise some of the skills we all know are important, like really listening, not dismissing others’ ideas out of hand and allowing yourself to speak up.
As a newcomer to improv, I feel so lucky to have discovered Hoopla. What a fantastic company. I just can't recommend them highly enough!! You'll genuinely laugh till you cry and stretch yourself in ways you never thought possible.
Great to instantly connect with people, drop barriers and have fun for a few hours. I felt like I was developing personally in a supportive, fun environment and that felt great. What a blast!
Everywhere you look, huge grins suggest an enthusiasm and an attentiveness that is rarely seen in a class.
I now regularly try to make room for improv and play time in my life. It is a bright spot when I am feeling beaten down by the everyday. The three hours of laughter do wonders for my stress levels, and afterwards I sleep without a care.
This introduction to improvisation will teach the skills you'll need to master scenes, stories and sketches in a relaxed environment.
Hoopla Impro is awesome. I’ve done a number of courses with them. They were fantastic and really helpful in building my love of improv and comedy as well as improving my confidence.

Great to instantly connect with people, drop barriers and have fun for a few hours a week. I felt like I was developing personally in a supportive, fun environment and that felt great. What a blast! Great fun, great experience, great value! It's nice to have an experience like this in London.
Learned some amazing new skills that can be applied in both personal and professional lives and the funniest hours in a week I can remember!
As a newcomer to improv, I feel so lucky to have discovered Hoopla. What a fantastic company. I just can't recommend them highly enough! If you're thinking of doing an improv class, you definitely won't be disappointed.
I decided to try improv as a New Year's resolution. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. I was quickly put at ease and had so much fun that improv has become a major part of my life.
Great teaching, a really wide-ranging and immersive introduction to improv, and totally inclusive - our class was a really mixed bunch, coming from a wide range of backgrounds, and doing improv for a host of different reasons. Highly recommended for both performers just the intrigued / interested alike!
