Last Letter

Last Letter

Description

Two players do a scene. They must use the last letter of the last word in one player’s line of dialogue as the first letter of the first word of the next player’s line of dialogue.

Example

Tattoo artist: Welcome, so this is your first tattoo?

Customer: Of course it is, I’m scared of needles!

Tattoo artist: So many people are scared of needles, but at least with this needle you get a cool tattoo at the end of it. Let’s have a look at the design you brought in.

Customer: Now? Oh gosh I really am quite nervous, I’ve never shown anyone my artwork before.

Tattoo artist: Everyone else who’s come in today wanted the same thing, so I bet it’ll be great.

Customer: Take it!

Tattoo artist: Thanks, oh my gosh this is amazing!! Golf in space!

Additional Tips for Playing

  • Try and keep the relationship and emotions of the scene going!

Variations

  • A good warm-up is to do two-line scenes, and use the last word as the first word of the next scene
