Description

Fun and simple warm-up game. Two people face each other. They count to three, changing who starts the count each time. We then repeat where instead of saying 2 they clap their hands, and then also adding in instead of saying 3 they jump in the air. When mistakes are made they should celebrate with a “YESSSSS!” and high five each other.

Example

Brian – 1

Sarah – 2

Brian – 3

Once they have been around a few times change two to a Clap:

Teaching Purpose

This a fun way to help focus and develop listening skills. Also a fun opportunity to celebrate getting it wrong.

Additional Tips for Playing

You can also change the number one to another action or word.   And really CELEBRATE when it goes Wrong!
