TJ and Dave
TJ and Dave are back in London this summer performing at The Soho Theatre, many thanks to Soho Theatre and Barrow Street Theatricals for bring them to the UK. While they are here they are also running a one-off workshop with Hoopla PLUS a brand new interactive Q & A session!
TJ Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi are award winning improvisers who improvise a one-hour play. They have twice won the Del Close Award for Best Improvised Show, the Nightlife Awards New York award for best comedy performance, the Chicago Improv Festival Improvisers of the Year award, and the Chicago Reader Best Improvised Show award. TJ and Dave are also authors of the fantastic book Improvisation at the Speed of Life.
Their shows have incredible emotional connection and playfulness with a natural discovery of hilarious characters, relationships and story. It’s an honour to have them at Hoopla to share their style of improvisation with the London improv scene.
The workshop is for experienced long-form improvisers who want to learn from TJ and Dave. They will both be teaching and we’re going to be strictly limiting the workshop size to 16 people.
The new additional interactive Q & A session is for all improvisers and will involve TJ and Dave asking questions from the audience and demonstrating their improvisation style live on stage to illustrate points.
All proceeds from the workshop and interactive Q & A session are going directly to TJ and Dave to help them fund their trip and to encourage future visits from them and an ongoing connection the UK improv scene.
