Helpful as a breakaway exercise when teaching relationships in scenes. Only takes a couple of minutes.
Everyone walks around the room throughout the exercise.
At first as they walk past each other they just say “hello”.
Then as they walk past each other they say “you’re great”.
Then as they walk past each other they say “I love you”.
Then as they walk past they say “I hate you”.
Then as they walk past they say “I love you” (to end on positive).
Helps to break the ice and say things that may pop up in scenes but feel like blocks we can’t say out loud. You can also add other lines you feel might be helpful.
