The Monoscene is an exciting improv form that takes place in one location in real time. With no edits, tag outs, or jumps in time, the Monoscene form allows the improviser to explore relationships and characters with deepened specificity.
You’ll hone skills in character building, world building, listening, being in the moment, and much more while having fun in this special style.
Los Angeles based instructor Jiavani can be seen doing improv on Dropout TV, Netflix and Comedy Central, providing voices on Cartoon Network and performing improv worldwide.

Jiavani
Jiavani is an improv fan favorite from Dropout TV.
She also performs regularly at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles.
You may have seen her on Netflix in the improvised Between Two Ferns: The Movie, Dead to Me, Reno 911, or providing dozens of voices on shows like Digman, We Baby Bears, and more.

Participants should have completed at least our Level 4 Long-Form course or the same amount of improv elsewhere.

We have a variety of other advanced improv courses that would be suitable, with themes like story, character, scenes and more.
