Stand-Up Comedy Course

8 week practical course, open to all levels, in which you will progress into a funny & confident stand-up comedian. Culminating in a showcase performance at The Miller. Starts Sept 2014.

Our classes are incredibly fun and enjoyable. We create a really safe, trusting, supportive and playful atmosphere and there is a lot of laughter in the room!

Our Beginners Improv Course is a 6 week course for beginners to learn the core skills of improvisation in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. You don’t need any drama, acting, comedy or impro experience whatsoever.

Our Performance Improv Course is a 8 week improv course to train improvisers to performance standard, with showcase performance at the end, and ongoing support and performance mentoring after the course.

Our Scenes Scenes Scenes Improv Course is an intensive weekend for experienced improvisers or actors  to get more practice improvising scenes. Focussing on relationship and game of the scene.

Our Long Form Course is an advanced 8 week course for improvisers with previous improv experience to learn how to improvise multiple scenes that link together using long-form techniques. With showcase performance at the end & ongoing performance support.

A 6 week course to learn the core skills of improvisation in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

Beginners Improv Course

An 8 week improv course to train improvisers to performance standard, with live showcase performance at the end, and ongoing support and performance mentoring after the course.

Performance Improv Course

An intensive two day full weekend course for experienced improvisers or actors to get more practice improvising scenes. Focussing on agreement, relationship and game of the scene.

Scenes Scenes Scenes Course

An advanced 8 week course for people with previous improv experience. Improvise multiple scenes, that link together using long-form techniques, to tell exciting stories with fun characters.


Long Form Improv Course
Sketch Comedy Course

6 week course to learn how to write and perform hilarious sketch comedy. Culminating in a showcase performance at The Miller in London Bridge. Starts May 2014.

In 2010 Hoopla founded the UK’s first ever improvised comedy club at The Miller in London Bridge, with at least two different improv groups performing every night.

Hoopla now run shows at The Miller every Friday and Saturday, featuring the best improvisation the UK has to offer, as recommended by both The Daily Telegraph and The Londonist.

Hoopla also run additional Crash Pad, Impro Jam and Improv Networking evenings at The Miller in London Bridge, to encourage new groups, new formats and new improvisers. Hoopla also have a number of Performing Opportunities.

Sat 17th - Sun 18th May 2014. Two-day course on improv singing. No singing experience necessary.
