Hoopla Summer Workshop Series


A collection of fun brand new extra summer improv workshops exploring exciting new themes beyond the realms of our regular courses.


We’re doing something different this summer and offering a variety of different workshops not previously done in the improv scene.


These are all designed to add variety to the improv scene, help grow the improv community in new directions, and help improvisers meet new people and do something new this summer.


If you haven't done any improv or acting before it's best to start with our beginners improv class or beginners improv course first.

Great improv has the power to make us both laugh and cry. This is always a result of the CONNECTION between players. Interesting scenes are not about a hilarious anecdote, they are about this specific relationship in this specific moment.

We all bring something different to the stage (our personalities, life experience, mood that day) and the millions of possibilities for a scene are crystallised into a unique circuit between ourself and our scene partner.
